Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
The circumstances of life cannot overwhelm us because of the depth of God’s love. No matter how the pressure comes, know that God’s force of love is still at work. Human love many times can endure, but sometimes human love sees some level of trouble and walks out. Peter saw the table turn on Jesus, the powerful Jesus was arrested and Peter bailed at that point. God’s love will never bail out on you. His love is not just there passively. It is the activeness of love that makes us more than conquerors because it will go to any length to bring us out. So sometimes you may maybe in the middle of the storm, under pressure, just hold still, in the midst of it you are more than a conqueror. God’s love s will reach you. It will bring you out.
