Rom 4:21  And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

 

Abraham did not start out fully persuaded regarding the promises of God! Yet he is regarded as the father of faith, his trust in God is projected as that great example of faith.

 

Like Abraham we realise that full persuasion comes from staying focused on the possibilities of God’s word.

The mind plays a major part in the faith process.

 

Rom 4:19  And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:

Rom 4:20  He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
