Faith is capital, have some!
Act 14:8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked:
Act 14:9 The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
When you come to God, you don’t come empty-handed and religiously think, oh God is Almighty, I am in His arms and He has to help me. This might sound nice, pious and good just that it won’t get the job done.
An inactive state of dependency does not draw God’s help. He that comes to God MUST believe, not just that God exists ( really the demons even believe and tremble). He that comes must show up with faith to receive heavenly resources.
