Psa 35:27  Let them shout for joy and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

The prosperity of a believer is tied to the kingdom’s cause.

Deu 8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

The reason for prosperity is primarily to establish God‘s covenant. Truly for the believer the motive has to be edited and constantly redefined as we move on to greater heights of influence and power.

It is not about us, it’s about God.

Like David asked his brothers “Is there not a cause”. There is nothing wrong with asking what is in it for you. Yes and of course like David when he was facing Goliath, the cause is for the kingdom, Goliath defies God’s army and that’s why we go to war. Yet while we are going we still ask and expect to receive what is in it for us on a personal level.

God is big enough to accommodate our needs and handle kingdom business through us.
So get to favoring God’s righteous cause on earth and ALL of these other things ( that the Gentiles seek after) are also part of your deal. (Matt 6:33)

Favor God’s cause I’m pushing the gospel in cash and kind,

favor God’s righteous cause in dominating the marketplace for Christ. Favour God’s righteous cause by being an excellent Christian businessperson.

Take over the industries, take over sectors for God. Establish his dominion.

Glory!
